We ate at the Plaza Gardens buffet twice. Food was of a good standard, cold starters or salads, meats, pâté, cheeses, olives, bread and snails. Hot starters were muscles and soups. Main courses, chicken, burgers, roasted gammon, roast pork, a meat dish in sauce, mixed vegetables, dauphinois potatoes, chips, pasta, lasagne, sausages etc. Deserts were fruit, lemon meringue, pecan pie, tiramisu, choc mousse, bake well tart, mini cornettos. The food was hot and topped up.
Service was poor for drinks on our first visit, waiting for 45 minutes for our drinks even after chasing the waiter up on numerous occasions. The plates were also not cleared away and the general attitude of the waiter was poor. However the second visit was vastly improved by a fabulous waiter named "Britney Spears". He was a character, and offered a great service.
