“Excellent value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

Stayed here 23rd June and had booked an executive room for £130. This gave full access to the Executive Lounge where all food and drinks are free (alcoholic drinks seemed to be between 18.00-21.00 and were also free)

All staff from "front of desk" to the cleaning teams were very courteous, polite and professional at all times. The room itself was very good with an equally impressive bathroom and separate shower, beautiful fluffy bathrobes and towels. The bed was more than comfortable as you just sank into it. Only downside really is that you have to pay for Wifi, which at 27 euros per day is very expensive. Would still definitely recommend this hotel to anyone though.

Room Tip: If you wish to see the aircraft, then ask for a room with a "Concorde" view. When it goes...

Stayed one night before flying home. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable while the staff were friendly and efficient. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good although a little on the expensive side for what you get. Wifi is expensive and in this day and age should be provided free of charge.

Pretty nice hotel, excellent breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable. May be a bit of a walk to get here depending on which terminal you landed in. Although this is a nice hotel, I would recommend staying at the Sheraton in the airport. It is much more convenient and is right next to the train you can take into downtown paris. the bathroom was very nice and spacious unlike most euro bathrooms, I didn't have to stoop to get under the shower head.

Recently attended business conference and stayed at the Hilton Paris Charles De Gaulle. Very convenient location on airport grounds. Room was large, comfortable, perfect for the business traveler. One restaurant on site. Breakfast buffet was very good with a mix of American, European items in your standard buffet.
The Executive Lounge was very small, but was constantly stocked with snacks and drinks.
The metro station is very close to the hotel, I was attending the conference center in VillePlatte and it is one stop from the hotel, very convenient.
If you are wanting to go to downtown to Paris it is approximately 30 min ride on the metro. The metro line was under construction on one evening returning to the hotel. We visited in mid June, so I do not know duration of evening shut downs; however, you may ride the metro to the closest stop to Charles De Gaulle then catch a bus to the metro station at the airport.

This is pretty much what you would expect for a Hilton at an airport - although of course being Charles de Gaulle airport there are almost no signs telling you how to find the hotel - I resorted to google maps once at Roissy station. It's a 5 minute walk from the station, or there are rather random shuttle buses from pick up points at the terminals - although these of course are not easy to find, and there is only one pick up point (near the Sheraton hotel) at terminal 2. You only realize where the pickup point is when the bus takes you back the next day.

2 major let downs
1) complete lack of service. Can you get served at the empty bar? Not on your life. Can Someone seat you for breakfast? No, they are too busy talking to their friend. Can you be served coffee at your table? - no the staff are talking to each other again.
2) breakfast was a disaster. Scrambled egg that looked 24 hours old. Now the appealing consistency of a rubber bullet. No fruit salad left. Lots of empty serving plates at the counter - who knows what else might have been on offer if someone could have been bothered to refill them?

I wouldn't go here again if I had the choice, but the bed was comfy. And it was quiet.

The hotel is very convenient for the airport and also for getting into Paris by rail. Being right next to the Roissypole RER station means you can get to the centre of paris in an hour for €9.75, much cheaper than a taxi at about €70 and little different in travel time.

I'd rate the hotel as Very Good but for the consistently mediocre service. Rooms are nice and quiet, everything well decorated, but they always seem to mess some little thing up. In 3 stays this year I've had a room-service order fail to arrive, a breakfast not delivered, newspaper not delivered, empty mini-bar, and generally find the very, very expensive restaurant never has enough staff on to get served promptly - a particular problem of the bar where you can be waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come and serve you a beer. These things are all pretty minor, but just take the edge off an otherwise good hotel.

I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, particularly not the buffet. The food is very over-priced and there is nothing about it that warrants the price. Neither of the meals I have had there have been anything out of the ordinary, and at €24 the buffet is awful.

We have booked a room to stay with 1 yer old and 1 month old baby. We called the hotel prior arriving if the baby crib will be provided and if the double room would be required. The answer for the double room was NO, standrad room was than booked for us. After arriving to the hotel (unconvinient location) we had to walk quiet far in the cold weather as there was no shuttle bus and we were tired to wait for it, The reception met us very rude, insisting on taking two rooms, and when I said we did not want two rooms and it was stated on my reservation request, and confirmed by phone by them, the reception head manager was called and started insisting on executive room! We were so tirted and with a crying breastfeeding baby in the hands nobody even cared to speed up our allocation! They were more concerened with how to sell us the executive room! We accepted it at the end, and yes, the rooms are clean and the breakfast was good, but no special care for children at all, everybodys attitude is so cold that you don't feel like even be there. I would recommend this hotel only for single businessmen, NOT FOR FAMILIES at any way! I prefer not perfect Novotel where everybody is getting out of the way to make my kids feel at home with special touches and breakfast apple pure and special babies yougurts and overall attitude! They care for you, while Hilton cares only how many rooms they can sell! Too bad!
P.S My previous review was not published, hoping this one will go through!

Dear IrinaLOS,

Thank you very much for your review of the Hilton Paris CDG Airport. We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. For security reasons , we are not allowed to accommodate four people in the same room and I am really sorry that this information was not given to you more clearly when you called at the hotel.
