“A very warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

Thank you Jill for being such a great host! After driving all the way from Coober Pedy, the scones with jam and cream were a delicious treat. Booleroo View had everything that we needed, including an extremely well stocked fridge and pantry. Our daughters loved feeding the lambs and getting to know your little joey friend. We had a wonderful stay at Booleroo View and look forward to retuning with our bikes in the future to explore the southern Flinders Ranges.

Thank you for that glowing review.
We try hard to be consistent and make sure our guests go away with some lovely memories. Especially when it comes to stress free breaks and the kids enjoy them selves.
We have noted before, 'happy kids = happy parents= return visits.'. Your little girls are such a delight, we will welcome them back.

Booleroo was a fantastic experience for both of us. The serene and peaceful setting was ideal for a relaxing weekend. Jill and Gordon extended a warm welcome and made us feel at home and allowed us to explore the farm. The cottage offers every possible thing required for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was an experience that we would cherish for a long time.

What an awesome experience! Sheep shearing, a baby Joey on our lap, clean countryside topped by Jill's hospitality (delicious scones!) and wonderful stories about their 40 years on the farm....thank you Jill and Gordon!

Great place to stay. Everything you could possibly need. Lovely secluded outlook. Good for families and couples alike wanting to get away from everyday life. Jill was very welcoming and baked us some scones. It was especially nice as there were lambs and a joey when we stayed. It is a handy place to stay to see the Southern Flinders Ranges

We choose Booleroo View as it is a great gateway into the Southern Flinders Rangers and because we have two extremely energetic boys (4yrs & 7yrs) and required accommodation where we could open the door in the morning and say go for it boys. We took up their bikes and they had a wonderful time scooting down the driveway then walking the bikes back for the next run. Jill and Gordon are lovely and caring hosts and we felt at ease with them immediately. The boys also felt comfortable so much so the youngest asked Jill for assistance in getting back up the driveway as he said to her “I’m puffed out and need help” to which she did. The boys were also able to assist with feeding some orphaned lambs and truly enjoyed the experience. We lit bonfires and roasted marshmallows, the boys had never seen a bonfire. The experience for them was priceless. The house was clean and neat. The well stocked fridge and pantry, not to mention the stocked bathroom felt like you were staying at a friend’s house not a B&B. Jill is extremely knowledgeable regarding the area and what to do or may be of interest. It was a great family holiday and still to this day the boys talk about Booleroo View, Jill, Gordon the sheep and lamas. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to come back.

Thank you for your wonderful encouragement to keep on doing what we are. Those little legs sure got a work out! How could I not assist ? he would ask so nicely and with such a forlorn face the brightened into a winning smile each time. :) It was our pleasure to host parents too who encouraged the children to run and play (go feral) and enjoy the outside world. We will welcome you back any time. We enjoyed your company too.

We stayed in Booleroo View for our first visit to South Australia. It was also onr of our first encounters with B&Bs and it has changed the way we travel because of our experience there. It was everything you would hope for eith a B&B - scones upon arrival - still warm, the kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking meals that much easier and the place was spotless and beautifully laid out. Jill and Gordon were fantastic hosts and provided all the information we needed for our stay. We cannot wait to get back there one day.

My partner and I stayed at Booleroo View for just one night but found it to be a great spot. We were overwhelmed by the provisions in the fridge- truly amazing! Jill also baked us a batch of scones on our arrival. What was even more special was the fact that they were gluten-free to suit my diet!
The bike ride on the property was also a great hit with my hubby!

Thank you for your lovely review. We try hard to please all our guests and take dietary conditions into consideration when ever possible. The stock of provisions ensures that most people will have a choice they like, not one they are forced into. Will you become part of our long line or returning guests? :)
