We have driven past this restaurant many times and a friend who lives in the area suggested a meal out. It specialises in Duck like many in the region but my wife had a porterhouse steak which she said was very good. Me, well it was a case of eyes to big for my belly... A five course meal and the soup was so nice I had seconds....then I had the help yourself to a selection of home made pate... Already stuffed I then followed with Duck casserole, a cheese course and a dessert all washed down with a local wine.
Service was very attentive and although it was very busy, service was prompt efficient and very friendly. This isn't fancy pants dining but good quality wholesome local fare. Good ambiance, good. Friendly service and very good value for money.
Go on treat yourself - we will certainly be going again...
