I have been going to the Windmill for dinner on regular occassions. On Sunday the 17th my wife and I went along for dinner at 19.30. We waited at the bar for what seemed an eternity but actually it was 6 minutes BEFORE we could get anyones attention.
There was nobody at the bar serving. We eventually was greeted by Adam who is the manager. No appology from him. We ordered drinks, a prosecco for my wife to which he said that they had none but offered a glass of champagne for the same price. I had a doom bar beer that was flat and cloudy. we asked for a menu and was told no meals that night as the kitchen was busy ( at 19.30 !!).
I then took my beer back as it was cloudy. Adam then gave me another brew that was as bad to which i left, i could not face his mooddy look. The atmosphere was poor, no custoler empathy this guy Adam was terrible. How can it be that a great place is destroyed by such people?
