My new favorite pub, hands down. I've been there for lunch three times now and for drinks a couple times as well. The food can't be beat and the portions are plentiful. The Pulled Lamb French Dip--tender and served with tasty lamb au jus. The Guinness Stew was awesome--sirloin steak and beef stock is a most welcome comfort food on a cold winter day. My final recommendation is the Chicken Pot Pie Boxty. A boxty is a traditional Irish potato pancake. The chicken pot pie is stuffed inside and the results are out of this world. Thomas and Brian, the proprietors, are both committed to high quality and authenticity. The place has a great look--soccer/rugby matches on the tele, wood, brick, celtic knick-knacks, darts, and snugs (semi-enclosed booths) for privacy. Tasty draft beers--and yes I made sure they clean the Guinness lines at least twice a week for freshness. Celtic flavored live bands on the weekends are not to be missed.
