I chose this hotel as I believed it to be near Lobpuri which is somewhere I wanted to visit. The map on the resorts website seemed to give this impression. How wrong I was! It is 150 km (2hr bus ride) away.
The resort itself is very pretty, right in the middle of the countryside. There is nothing to do in the way of sightseeing, although there is a temple behind in the middle of the hills, but I couldn't work out how to get to it.
The resort does offer activities such as boat riding and bike riding for free, and there is a nice, if small, pool.
My room was a wooden hut which was very comfortable and fitted in well with the surroundings. It had ac and the usual stuff you'd expect- shampoo, soap, shower gel, towels, mini-bar (no safe though). It was very quiet and peaceful- the resort wasn't busy.
The food was good and reasonably priced, apart from the breakfasts which were only average (however I didn't go for the Thai option, that may have been better).
The staff were friendly and helpful even though their English wasn't too good. Service was prompt in the restaurant.
So all in all, a pretty little place perfect if you want to be in the middle of nowhere doing nothing. If you want to sightsee however, it's not very convenient.
