We visited Bouvignes on a sunny week end. Nice walk to the ruins but you need to know where to start the walk, as there is hardly any indications! even worse by car - not a single signpost! pity as the whole site has just been redone, and now secure to go around the site, even for small children and puppy dogs.
Ruins are not particularly my thing, but from the top, you get fantastic views: the village, the Meuse. There is a natural reserve on the other side, and we spotted many birds. Back to the village (the square is very picturesque- medieval), we ate at the 'mougneux d'as' - to be recommended - tasty food - recommend the tajine, the duck parmentier and the 'jambon de sambre et meuse'!
There is also a museum - maison espagnole- but we didn't visit - rather enjoyed sunshine sipping some wine....
