I was here at a family reunion and booked almost all the rooms they had. There were good things and bad things equally.
On the good part:
The food, we had all 3 meals, breakfast is not great, but since we had 2 other enormous meals per day, we didn't miss a good breakfast. The food is traditional and very tasty. The area is superb, the garden is like a small corner of heaven, the village is very picturesque. There is an area for paragliding very close to the village and also Turda is pretty close, so you can also visit the saline over there.
Not that great:
The rooms are small and the beds are very old. Ok, it's traditional furniture, but the mattresses could be more comfortable. They are very, very soft and impossible to stretch into a straight position with the spine. The pillows were huge and impossible to use. The bathroom is small and not very modern either. If more people take a shower at the same time, you run out of hot water.
There was another thing. We wanted the whole place for ourselves, since it was a family reunion, and told that to the owner when booking and since we booked almost all the rooms, he was ok with the idea. Nevertheless, he booked to other people too. Not very nice.
So, don't expect luxury, don't expect hotel service... I think there are other places much better to be found in the area.
