We came upon this gracious hotel unexpectedly and the charming and welcoming Jean Luc made us instantly welcome. This is a small, delighful hotel in a very quiet town which was a welcome relief from the rigours of travelling in France at the height of the season. It only has a few rooms, but we were given a stunning one, decorated to the highest standard with beautiful tapestries and furnishings. There was a superb bathroom and also a loft available for children - which we didn't need. All the luxurious touches were in place. Meals were superbly cooked and presented by the owner who is an outstanding chef and we ate in a quiet, peaceful courtyard. This hotel could charge much more than Jean Luc was asking and we highly recommend it to couples who wish to take an intimate break from the hectic pace of life.
