“Noisy party next to us not asked to tone it down. Sick on floor of ladies”
Went on Sat night at start of Jan with couple of friends. Four of us, two couples. Table of loud ladies near us when we went in. No problem, we all like a laugh and it all adds character. However considering they had eaten before we got our menus then continued drinking the noise level got louder and louder. Many people near us asked to move, but some walked out in disgust. One of the women kept pulling down her trousers and showing her knickers to the other people on her table. They were so raucous that we could hardly hear ourselves speak. At no point did any member of staff come over and ask them to just tone it down a bit. I am an ex landlady and know that you can't let one party's enjoyment spoil everything for the rest if your customers. All anyone had to do was speak to them or maybe move them to a corner and offer coffee. I went to the ladies where the floor was awash with sick and went to the bar to complain. The poor batman said that he had a headache from the noise of the 12 people but the manager refused to do anything 'as we are a pub not a restaurant'. Another lady was complaining at the same time as me but the manager repeated that he had no complaints!! My boots were totally ruined by the pools of sick that had seeped into the suede. I'm sure you know how expensive Uggs are, but my complaint was met with complete disdain. Even though the food is cheap, please don't visit this place as the management don't care about their customers.
