“What a treat !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

Stayed for one night on way to Val D' isere. What a treat. Amazing decor, fantastic service, beautiful, tasteful and spotlessly clean rooms. A little bit of heaven. Gorgeous breakfast and friendly, welcoming hosts, we will be back! Thank you so much!

Stayed one night at this hotel on the way home from a ski trip. I had booked as the reviews were so good and we were not disappointed. The hotel is set in a pretty pedestrian street in a great area for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Literally 5 minutes from Le Chateau parking it was easy to find and were warmly welcomed by the proprietors Charlotte and her husband. The rooms we took were suites and they were incredibly comfortable with excellent facilities. The beds are wonderfully comfortable with luxurious white bed linen, beautifully finished bathrooms with expensive fittings and large showers and tubs to soak in. Charlotte has thought of everything within the room, such as points in the right place and good lighting where needed, and fireplaces with gel fires giving a contemporary edge to the rooms. There is a nespresso machine and various other additions for your comfort. Downstairs is a softly lit lounge area where wine and beer are served in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We had a drink which was reasonably priced but ate out in the hotels recommended by Charlotte who made all the bookings. We had incredible meals that were not expensive and great tables, she took care of everything. This hotel is really worth the visit.

Room Tip: We had 6 and 8. I believe 6 was marginally a better room but both lovely.

This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Spur of the moment booking, exceptional attention to detail. Perfect location, gracious and friendly staff, expert local knowledge, even booked the restaurant for us. Nothing too much trouble.

We had the executive suite, and we will stay here again.

Private parking was also provided with the car delivered promptly to the door, well worth the money.

Highly recommend.

We stayed four nights in this hotel in Chambery. We had a superb time there. The couple who run this hotel was very nice and welcoming, and spoke very well english. They were very friendly and service minded; they were helpful in restaurant reservations and -guiding as well as giving advice on trips to local vineyards.
We had a beautiful suite with very nice and modern interior and decor. The room was very clean, and they provided housekeeping twice a day.
The hotel itself is very special, with just a few rooms set in very old buildings. Everything is perfectly renovated. There is a small, fancy lobby where you can have a very nice breakfast or just relax with a glass of vine in front of the fireplace.
We highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Chambery!

For a short night stay we could stay at the Petit Hotel Confidentiel in Chambery. We arrived late at the airport, but getting rooms was not a big deal there. Rooms were nice, cozy; Modern furniture styles up this hotel! Breakfast not too much slection, but absolute ok!

We stayed here three nights and the location is excellent, we explored the old town and also hired some bikes from the train station and rode down to the lake. The hotel is very modern with unique decor, there is a lift for guests. We took a taxi from the station, though it is an easy walk. The hotel is inside the pedestrian only part of the old town so a short walk was needed to access the hotel.

This gorgeous boutique hotel in Chambery is staffed by some of the warmest most professional we encountered on this trip. Charlotte, at the front desk is also the talented designer of this super spot. The hotel is interestingly laid out, very convenient to the charming town of Chambery and next to the castle. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and consistently charming, each one is a little different. The pebble and wood theme seem to run throughout the hotel. The shower room, bigger than necessary, was pebbled and had rainshower heads and attractive lighting. Although there was no view the room was inviting enough by itself to allow major relaxation.Charlotte and Jerome are helpful about the characteristics and opportunities in the town. THis is a place to go to just for the experience. Stay more than a day. The food in town is good and the area is resplendent with outdoor activities.

Room Tip: Each room is different. If you have needs be sure to ask ahead
