“fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2014

My father and I ate here recently while on a trip to the Ardennes. His verdict: "The best meal I have ever had". It was wonderful. The ambience, the attentive service, and the innovative treatment of the food were great. We had the fixed price weekly menu, very reasonably priced.

“Gem in the ardennes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

We had a great evening. It was great weather so we had our aperitif and dinner in the garden. Wonderful tastes... Not the usual classic cuisine but orignial flavour and influences from other continents. The sommelier was clearly passionate about his wine. We had a good value for money menu (menu de la semaine). We'll certainly return!

“Arrogant service - never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Our reservation had gone lost. When the owner found it back (after blaming my wife!), he told us to go elsewhere because everything was fully booked. He even did not try to find an alternative solution. Worst restaurant experience ever.

“Always pleasing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2012

We have tried the restaurant for the first time back in the days when the building still kept some of its old charm, about 4 years ago. Since then, Chirstophe, (chef/owner) has come a long way and we have been observing his evoluation with great interest. His wife Christine is always friendly and takes the time to explain details about the menu, often inspired by their trips around the world. Dimitri is great when it comes to the wine selection. When you embark on a menu you know you are going on a journey for the next 3 hours. Although we personally preferred the old decoration, we have every respect for the new simplistic design which matches the owners style much better. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews. I would just say, give the restaurant another try. At least there, you get a much better value for money, compared to Brussels at least.

“Not impressed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2011

Went there today at noon. Party of three. There was only 1 other table with 2 customers, so we expected a superior service. We had the full menu €68 + €10 for caviar and +€35 assorted wines pp. Good dishes, well cooked, well presented but not very imaginative and meager portions. Wines just correct, nothing extraordinary; had to ask twice for a refill. Too classic and not good enough for a Michelin star. Gault Millau 13, not 16.
