“If you are eating in Kodiak, eat here...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

My first trip to Kodiak and of all the restaurants we have tried, Noodles has been the best. It is easy to find and conveniently located. We ate there for dinner last night and were not disappointed. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. We didn't order anything to drink, but wine and beer is available. The atmosphere is basic and typical of small town Alaska. As a lifelong Alaskan, I don't mind that at all.

We started with the fresh rolls which were standard issue. The sweet chili sauce was a bit different from what we are accustomed to eating. Not in a bad way, just a little different.

We enjoyed the tom sum which came with a side of steamed rice. The soup was hot, very tasty and satisfying. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the broth had a lot of flavor. We also ordered the shrimp pad thai which was delicious and better than some pad thai that we have eaten in urban areas. It was garnished nicely and the portion size was very adequate.

Wait staff was well informed, prompt, polite and enjoyable. We were seated, served and out of there within an hour. We will eat here again.

“Great food and great prices -- for Kodiak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

We are local and this is our go-to place for dining out. Great gluten free and vegetarian options. Great meat options. Overall, the food here has always been excellent, and it's also quick and reasonably priced. Fresh rolls are awesome. Pad thai is excellent. Bimbibop dish is the best, and one of our favorites.

“ate here twice in one day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

We had lunch and dinner here on a Monday. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, delicious curry (medium was plenty spicy!), and fresh rolls. Very good food and service.

“Thai Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

The food was very good, and the service was ok, but the ambiance was not the greatest. This older building had lots of tables in an open area. I prefer the open areas to be broken up by booths or whatever to keep the sound down, and for interest. The building was on a main road outside of the main town area, away from the water, so forget good views. I would go back for the food. It is worth it.
