“Under new management”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

What a change - have been here 12 months ago and it was very ordinary. The new owners have revised the menu and added some great fresh local produce. It is now a worthwhile stop on the way to Port Douglas. We had a late breakfast and coffee - both were great and complement the view. Great to see a good place to stop on the way north.

“Taste bud Sensation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

This is a fantastic restaurant with loads of atmosphere. We went twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. The setting along the beautiful palm tree clad beach front is to die for and the live easy listening jazz music of a Sunday afternoon was delightful. The restaurant brings it's own style to each dish. it might sound a little thing on the menu but their home made beef cheek spring roles were amazing. So were the Salt n Pepper squid. On the break y side of things the Eggs Benedict with honey bacon made the next weeks worth of breakfasts seem plain and boring. My wife went for the Samon and was equally impressed. Definitely worth a visit.

dropped in to the bar and grill as my partner and I were driving through ellis beach, glad we did!!! An amazing venue, with a full jazz band playing live. Had a selection of oysters and the salt and pepper squid, best iv ever had! Resonably priced, friendly staff and a view to die for. Will definately return.
