After a lovely day visiting the Aran Islands we were ready for a good Irish seafood dinner and Fitzpatrick's Bar in Doolin gave us what we wanted. After a starter of steamed mussels, we had an excellent dinner of fish with wine sauce.
Yes, it’s a bar and has the atmosphere of a fun place, but it’s also a fine restaurant. We’ll certainly go back when we visit Ireland again.
We did note one surprise on the menu, baked Alaska. Seeing that offered and so far, in so many ways, from our forty-ninth state that we had to try it. And glad we did for it too was fabulous.
We’ll certainly go back on our next visit to the Emerald Isle.
