“GREAT TRIP”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

We went on the 3pm sailing around the Cliffs of Moher with Bill O'Brien's. Many sightings of a Dolphin on the outward journey and then saw two Dolphins swimming together on the return journey, which takes about an hour overall. Fabulous to see the cliffs from the sea, awesome and much more impressive than actually going to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor's Centre etc. O'Brien's gave us plenty of time to take photos of the cliffs too. Boat had plenty of room and you could sit inside our stay out on desk for the whole journey. Highly recommend O'Brien's. Believe they also do trips to the Islands. Well worth the money, everyone seemed delighted with their trip.

“The Cliffs of Moher are really impressive from the sea”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

We opted to see the cliffs of Moher by boat rather than walking on top and looking down. I believe we booked with O'Brien and the boat was very crowded. I believe it was close to an hour delay that we experienced waiting for the boat to arrive. We filled the time exploring around the dock area. The seas were rough that day, and it made it a little difficult for picture taking. If you get seasick, I wouldn't recommend...

“Good trip to Inishmore & back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

The ferries available from Doolin to the Aran Islands are highly competitive. We chose Bill O'Brien's because he's been doing it the longest and the price was very good. On this ferry, there weren't as many people as on the other ones. This could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I wouldn't listen to too much about promises about anything on the ferries themselves. It's basically a bus ride on the water with no frills. The trip to Inishmore does stop at another island on the way there and back, but I think that applies to all the ferries.

“Great ferry experience!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

Wow - that was an experience!! it was very windy and Bill O"Brien promised we'd get off the island of Inishmore to meet family - we actually received a phone call at our BandB to let us know only one ferry running that day due to weather!! It was great!!

“Worth it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

They were on time and explained what we were seeing. It was a smooth trip to the Aran islands. The captain was funny and informative. We had a great time and it was not expensive. Sit on top for better views and inside if it rains since it has super comfy seats. It also has a bathroom but no items for purchase.

You can see the Cliffs of Moher so much better here than when you see them from the top. The sea was calm the day we went and we got very close to them and it was breath taking.
