“Cullinan's is the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

We just returned from Ireland, and one of the highlights of our trip was our stay at Cullinan's in Doolin. The room was spacious, bright and immaculate. It looked out on a lovely creek and the beautiful countryside. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had two nights of great sleep. And the meals -- just perfect. In addition to our breakfasts, which were included, we had an absolutely delicious dinner one evening. Carol was a wonderful hostess and tremendously helpful. I highly recommend Cullinan's, both the B&B and the restaurant.

I have previously stayed at Cullinan's with my then girlfriend and now wife. I had organized a trip for 18 friends and family prior to my wedding. None of my party have ever been to Ireland or even Europe and they couldn't have been happier with the first stay on our trip. The rooms are huge and Carol handled all the anxious yanks very well! It's every close to Fisher Street and the two other pubs in Doolin. The stay was great and the views are amazing from the room. Breakfast was even better! We will always stay here every time we are in Clare.

Room Tip: The room off the library is great! Great views and nice patio!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cullinans. I particularly enjoyed Carol's professionalism and helpfulness.

The facility is extremely comfortable. Everything was gracious, comfortable and impecable. Our access to two sitting rooms was appreciated as was the internet access that worked 100% of the time.

Cullinans is in a great location. We visited the Burren, hiked Innishere in the Aran Islands, and walked the cliffs. A special treat was listening to Ireland's finest Pied Piper in the pub across the street.

If you like food, Cullinans is a must. I never met Carol's husband who is the chef, but I can tell you one thing about him: This dude can cook!

One of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in.

The location can't be beat, and the owners (we only saw Karen, since her husband was the chef and cooked constantly) do what they do beautifully. We were lucky and stayed in one of the rooms that overlook that spring and a heron that likes to fish there (never did see him catch a thing). The place was immaculate, if a bit small (we found the full-size bed a bit soft for us). Breakfast daily at the main building was wonderful.

Room Tip: Try to get one of the two that overlook the Aille.

I stayed here for one night with my brother and we were very happy with our short stay. The room was bright, clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The landlady was extremely friendly and helpful. This guesthouse is directly opposite the Hotel Doolin and in the centre of Doolin village. The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection of hot foods as well as fresh juices and cereals. I would definitely recommend staying here and would go back happily.

Cullinan's is a lovely place to stay. Clean, quiet and beautiful with a view of a quintessential Irish spring from the dining room, it is across from at least two great pubs with traditional seisuns (Irish Music sessions) every evening and walking distance to more. Cliffs of Moher are just a few miles away as are the Dolmen and other ancient monuments of the Burren.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view but stay here even if there is no view room available.

We stayed in Doolin, home of trad Irish Music we had been informed. This b&b did not disappoint as the hosts were warm and welcoming, and the room spacious airy, with a lovely view of creek from the window. We stayed here whilst touring including visiting Cliffs of Mohr, just a short drive from here. Ther a three pubs and we lunched in one food was superb, and had dinner in another, across the road, the Restaurant at Cullinans was closed on a Sunday night. The breakfast next morning was delicious and certainly plentiful, on checking out I mentioned about reccommendations for good Irish music, and humbly they pointed out that they had made a CD some twelve years ago, it is fantastic, worth buying and nice to have a memento of time spent there. Lovely quaint, well-priced and certainly worth a visit.

Room Tip: Conveniently located each room would be good, as well as a lovely sitting room, to just relax and ta...
