The service we experienced at this restaurant, which belongs to an old friend, was really excellent - it was friendly, prompt, informative and happy to both guide us in our choices and be guided by our requests. It is a small, friendly restaurant, in a remote town in central Sardinia, with lots of character.
The food was of a high quality - local cheeses and salumi were particularly tasty, as was the excellent pasta and sea urchin - all was very tasty and nicely served, too, for us to share.
The atmosphere, on a Sunday lunchtime before the annual horse racing through town, was friendly and family-oriented. There was no rush to finish, despite the advent of the jockeys outside the restaurant.
What I liked best was the incredibly friendly welcome, after 25 years, and the generosity of the service and the food - the sea urchins are only available at this time of year, and they were absolutely delicious!
