“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

This hotel delivers the wow factor in bucket loads from the drive up to the reception and escort to the room and then the room!! The bed was huge with beautifully smooth linen and soooo comfortable. Heating and air conditioning to ensure individual temperature preference and windows that open - always a plus for me. Lovely chemical free toiletries too.
Had dinner there in the fabulous conservatory - again wow food and great discrete but attentive service.
I plan to return many times and look forward to the opportunity. I think a summer stay with dinner on the terrace would be idyllic.
It would have been nice to explore the grounds but it was a very cold wet grey day and we had other commitments.
This would be an amazing wedding or big ceebration venue.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Great food and attentive staff with only one minor complaint. The cooked breakfasts appeared when we had only just started on the cereals. Didn't sleep at the hotel but saw a room, a suite and the bridal suite which were all gorgeous. Everyone who did sleep there appeared to be more than happy. There is also a nice little room off the reception area with an open log fire which was particularly pleasant. The restaurant is bright and airy. The hotel has managed to retain a pleasant homelieness about it and is upmarket without being pretentious or stuffy.
The addition of some spa type facilities would further enhance a stay here. A couple of single rooms would also broaden it's appeal.

I have now been to Hampton Manor on a number of occasions over the last 18 months, for both business and pleasure. On the two occasions I have used the Manor for events, the event management team have been fantastic from inception to completion. From the minute you walk in you are welcomed warmly and given every confidence that all your needs will be met and I was not disappointed! The venue is exquisite and yet intimate. The staff go out of their way to accommodate every need and always with a smile.

I have had afternoon tea at the Manor twice in the last year and despite having had afternoon tea in some of the best hotels including The Ritz and The Plaza in New York, I can say that Hampton Manor's is far superior and at a fraction of the expense. Friends of mine who have also dined extensively thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon tea at Hampton Manor and 8 months on are still mentioning it.

Room Tip: On these trips, I did not stay at the hotel, but I have done in the past. All rooms are decorated d...

Located close to NEC but you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. A Boutique hotel that is genuinely special.
The room was fantastic and the food and service is Michelin standard. A real treat and excellent value!

The afternoon tea was served in Peels restaurant which was a lovely setting. The staff were very attentive and the food delicious. The afternoon tea included a choice of hot drinks so if you're not a tea fan then you could have coffee or hot chocolate instead. A nice choice for afternoon tea!
