“Cannot recommend highly enough -beautiful 'get away from it all' peaceful break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

We recently spent a long weekend at Cwm Tawel and loved every minute. There are gorgeous views from the site, the yurts are cosy and comfortable, the washing facilities are excellent and Sasha and Phil are friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home as soon as you arrive. We spent a day wild food foraging, turning our produce into a delicious meal cooked over the campfire afterwards, which was a wonderful experience. We arrived from London with very few camping skills between us but Sasha and Phil taught us how to build up the campfire, showed us the best places to gather wood and then left us to it so we could play at being seasoned campers! They strike just the right balance between being on hand to give advice and letting you experience the wonderful site for yourselves. We visited the Gower peninsula whilst we were there which has some stunning coastlines and beaches. The countryside surrounding the site is also beautiful. I honestly cannot think of a negative thing to say and hope to visit again soon.

This is a fabulous holiday destination. The yurt camp is extremely well equipped with showers, a shop, a communal cooking area. Sasha and Phil made us feel extremely welcome, and offered lots of advice about palces to visit. We did a lot of cycling in the beautiful valleys around. There are plenty of routes but expect hills! I would recommend yurting - a cosy, back-to-basics experience in a beautiful, natural setting. I hope to return to the yurt camp because I had such a fantastic time!

We checked out this new venture yesterday; a couple of days before it formally opens. What a superb expiernce. The site is tucked away out in lovely countryside with a very exclusive, away from it all feel. The Yurts themselves are amazing, being imported from Mongolia so are authentic yet both stylish and so warm and cosy! Each has a wood burning stove so you're in charge of the heating.the facilities are all close by and whilst Eco friendly are rather luxurious. We loved the place , the owner, the lovely Sasha', can't do enough to make yr stay real nice.
Loads of good walks and other activities to do. This is a must for those 'out door' types who really want the luxury and exotic feel of a glamping expierence. Go -you'll love it!
