I visited this restaurant and stayed at the B&B connected with the restaurant. It had been recommended by a local friend. We arrived a bit late and had called ahead where they assured us that it was not a problem to eat when we arrived. The waitress asked what we wanted to eat and were given some recommendations of the hard cheese made there, fried croquettes and oxtail, which we said was fine. We were never given menus but went on their recommendations. The waitress did not speak English but with a bit of Spanish we got by fine. The food was decent and the restaurant has the feel of a very new establishment run by a family. We thought the dinner was fine until we checked out of the B&B and saw that we had been charged EUR10 for the 8 slices of cheese made by the winery next door, and EUR32 for the oxtail. The simple meal for two people cost us over EUR100. If you stay here, enjoy your meal but be prepared for the steep prices.
The rooms were also very new- on the one hand having a bit of an Ikea feel but on the other hand you can tell they have worked hard to give their place personalized touches such as the monogrammed towels. The heating didn't work very well although made a lot of noise which made it difficult to sleep. The bathtub in the suite was excellent.
