Let me add an English review to this restaurant that has almost exclusively Italian clientele. I was brought here by a local friend who was a former fashion executive. The front of the house was being handled by a young lady that used to work at Le Cirque in New York. That was my first clue that ths was not your standard neighborhood restaurant.
It was the first weekend of Porcini season, so we started with beautiful fried Porcini from the hills across the street. We then had a lovely Carpaccio, and a Porcuni Rissotto that was absolutely perfect. The whole meal involved only a handful of local ingredients, that were of the highest quality and handled with the greatest care. It was all paired with a spectacular wine produced about a km away. The service was friendly while being polished and professional.
This is away from the mainstream restaurants of Mian, but if you really want a memorable local meal, without a crowd of tourists or foodies, then this is the place you have been looking for.
