I booked the Ballyvolane House after looking at their website and other tripadvisor reviews. To me, it was everything I imagined the perfect Irish stay to be. I had pretty high expectations. So I booked it for our honeymoon.
The Ballyvolane house is off the beaten path and pretty hidden. It was beyond gorgeous, both inside and out. It was the perfect mix between a bed and breakfast and hotel atmosphere. It was personal, yet I felt like we had plenty of privacy.
The staff was really nice and offered wonderful hospitality, especially Rose.
The grounds are amazing to explore and walk around. There is a walled garden where they grow the vegetables they use for the meals. There are pigs, donkeys, and three great dogs that are very friendly.
The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable, and the beds are the best! The bath tub was huge and so relaxing!
I highly recommend the Ballyvolane House!
