This hotel has one great thing: the webpage! After being there I had to return to the webpage and check to confirm that we actually read it when we booked it!
The room: spacious and with a great view, but, the noise of one mechanical device from the hotel is turning on and off all night making it impossible to sleep there (try to avoid room 6, the staff knows this because they really weren't surprised when we asked to move... weird that they placed us there anyway). details of the room: low quality furniture, no TV connection!! (it seems that there is a engineer taking care of the problem but no tv or radio at all) the promised wifi connection was non existing.
Car: take care, indeed one can park in front and pay per hour... but with the maximum time of 2 hours ... not handy at all if you just want to stay the car and walk... the staff didn't suggest an alternative.
Closing times: my first time to a hotel at 2330 (were I was checked in already) were i found a ticket on the closed door stating i had to call a phone number and ask someone to open the front door!! especially when nobody told me about this ... what if I don't have a mobile or if I just left it in the room? (definetly not ready to receive foreign guests).
The staff was helpful but as no one was really responsible for the from desk no one was able to offer a proper from desk service a must in any hotel I would say... no touristic guides or any help regarding parking facilities/ tourism, pity in such a lovely view.
The breakfast was great and nicely served .
Probably this could be named a B&B ... not a top one anyway... but this is not a hotel... sorry for that ... the restaurant and bar are the opposite, nice and elegant.
