“This bar would make a great museum, terrible/rude owner!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

This is a beautiful venue, well kept and full of Father Ted memorabilia and replica adverts from throughout the years. I would really recommend coming in to have a look. The drinks are pricy and the owner is rude, barely acknowledging us or saying thank you or good bye when we (soon after arriving) left. The bar clearly trades on its connection to Father Ted and are more concerned with money than giving a friendly Irish welcome or any form of hospitality. There are much friendlier, down to earth and authentic pubs in the area (Dalys and Cooleys to name two)

“DOES NOT DESERVE BUSINESS”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

From the outside it has character. Quite the opposite case from the owner/barman. He is possibly one of the rudest men i have met in my life and does not deserve business. I find it hard to know how he lasted this long. Firstly he served our drink in glasses that were dirty. He treated us like we were unwelcome and had no manners. He also addressed us with aloofness in a strange type of posh accent. I think the best way to describe him would be chauvinistic pig. Will not suggest it to anyone. Very poor service.
