“Delightful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

I was welcomed with open arms by Maura and Ronnie. The meals where wonderful. My room was peaceful and clean. I was able to use WiFi and had a personal television. The location was superb and what I was looking for in a vacation spot. The owners went above and beyond to make this trip one of my most memorable. I will surely miss this 'home away from home' and can be so lucky enough to return. Definitely beyond my expectations.

Room Tip: Although there is no fitness center or pool, there was plenty opportunity to enjoy nature at its fin...

My son and I stayed here for 7 days to attend the Gathering and explore around west Clare. My son has stayed there around 3 times previously (he lives in Dublin), but this was my first visit there from the US. Spectacular views and a unique homey B&B. Maura and Ronnie were fantastic hosts. Maura introduced us to her mother Mary, who was a real treat to talk to.

This B&B gave us a break from the "touristy" atmosphere of Lahinch, which has a number of quality places to dine. When it comes to hospitality, this B&B is #1.

Stayed here for 2 nights recently and loved it. The views are spectacular, the location brilliant and the hosts very friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and bright and the ensuite was massive. Also would recommend The Corner Stone in the town for dinner, beautiful food.

This clean Bed and Breakfast was well run with a superb breakfast. The location was perfect - not too far from the busy town but close enough to not be isolated from society. This location was close to the sea and provided a great view as well as overlooking the rolling hills of Ireland. Maura and Ronnie are absolutely great hosts and cater to your every need. I absolutely recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is visiting Lahinch.

The owners of the Crag Shore B and B made our stay unforgettable. Maura and Ronnie have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere only matched by the spectacular view from their spot nestled in lush greeen hills overlooking Crag Shore beach. I would go back in a minute!!!

Room Tip: All are superb!

We have stayed at many B&Bs and hotels around Ireland but Crag Shore rates among the best.
Firstly, the view from the B&B is to die for – the Atlantic Ocean, cliffs and never-ending green pastures all from one window! The B&B can be a good base for spending a day out at the Lahinch beach and promenade.
Secondly, the property is well-maintained and very clean. It really felt like a home away from home. The rooms (and the bathrooms) are quite spacious and sea-facing rooms have the added advantage of the view. The fittings and the furniture seem to be new. Couple of tables in the dining room face the ocean too. The continental breakfast was ample and is a good start to the day.
Last but not the least, Maura and Ronnie are amazing hosts. When we could not find our way to the B&B, Maura was kind enough to drive down to where we were parked and showed us the right way. They operate on trust and do not collect a booking deposit which is quite rare these days. They also spent some time talking to us and helping us plan our day ahead. On the whole, our stay was quite enjoyable and we would not hesitate to return in the future.
Not to miss the aesthetic pieces of art by Ronnie in the corridors and the dining room!. It is well worth for what you pay. Ram

Lovely hosts!!! Great location, good rooms. Everything was perfect...and a nice spot to land the helicopter. Lahinch is a good spot also to see most attractions in Co.Clare. Thank you for everything. Definitely we will be back - do not miss this spot.
