“Great stay and great service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Stayed one night in the Sliding B&B and had a great stay. Susan also brought me back to Ennistymon the next day which I really appreciated. The breakfast was great particularly the lovely bread and muffins. Highly recommend this b&b for any trips to one of the nicest place in Ireland!!!

We were very well looked after here at the beginning of November. The room was comfortable and breakfast delicious. The buffet was well stocked with homemade goodies, including granola, bread and compote. The hot breakfast was also delicious and very filling.
We arrived having surfed in the morning, so the hot and powerful shower was very comforting after the cold sea!
I hope I will be back here again soon!

Just stayed one night in 'The Siding' during a solo photography tour of Clare, and really enjoyed staying in Susan's wonderful B&B. Very clean & comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom and I enjoyed having my own quiet sitting room in the evening to get a little work done.

The best part though was the incredible Irish breakfast - a work of art. Actually was the best breakfast the entire time I was in Ireland, and I highly recommend this.

Just 15 minutes to the Cliffs of Moher and 5 minutes into Lahinch with all it's pubs, etc.

If I'm in the area again, I'll go back.

We stayed at several B&B's on this trip. The siding was by far the best. Friendly, homey, attentive. Susan had fresh cupcakes and tea waiting for us when we arrived in the afternoon. We felt like we were part of her family, with her two lovely girls playing beside us. Susan gave us excellent dinner recommndations. Susan spent an hour introducing Ireland to us. The room is fine, the bath is grand. The breakfast is a rich and generous fantastic breakfast buffet. You would need a car to get in town for dinner. Highly recommended !!!!

Room Tip: When booking a B&B I would inquire how many other rooms there are. Our only dismay when staying...

The breakfasts were lovely - check out the home made muesli and fruit compote ! My family and I (two kids 8 and 4) were made to feel very welcome and I would happily recommend anybody with a small family to come here if they are planning for a trip to Lahinch.

Hugh,

Thank you for the lovely comments. It was a pleasure having you and your family staying with us. Our daughters were very disappointed when their new friends left. They had a great time playing together. Hopefully we might see you back in Clare sometime in the near future.

You are made to feel very welcome. A great breakfast cooked to order. A very strategic location to explore West County Clare. We had a 6 month old and Susan provided us with a clean "pack-n-play" with soft baby linen, infant bath tub and a "baby towel"...much appreciated.

If you want to experience true Irish hospitality, this is your destination. I can not decide what was the most impressive attribute at this gem of a B&B; Susan, Doug and their unbelievable family; the UNBELIEVABLE food (her chocolate muffins will haunt me); the five star accomodations (the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in); the soothing quiet this location offered. Simply superb in all catagories. Conveniently located between two communities, this B&B will exceed even the most discriminating taste. Indulge yourself and stay at The Siding!!

Thank you for your wonderful comments. We are so delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. It was a pleasure meeting you and we are only sorry you weren't staying longer. Really enjoyed the chat & banter as Alannah entertained with the Tin whistle. Alannah also says thanks again for the gifts. She is already planning to bring them to a show & tell day in school. Hopefully we will see the 3 of you back again in the future.
