Had seen the publicity and decided to visit. Thought it was 9 euro's for an adult, 7.50 euro's for concessions but found that by using a Telegraph subscribers card it was 1 adult pays full price, the other gets in free.
The science exhibition is well worth visiting, explaining about the telescope that can be seen in the grounds. One marvels how it was built in the 19th century.
The grounds are also well worth a visit, possibly spoilt because of the glorious sunny weather but even so, I am sure it would be just as nice when the weather was not quite so good. The map given after paying is very good for looking at the various paths around the grounds and also the points that are worth a visit.
The staff are also very helpful. There is also a buggy that goes round the grounds for 5 euro.
