We stayed at this Inn one night, before flying out of Shannon the next morning. Headley Court is a little hard to find and a good drive (5-10 minutes or so) from the center of Bunratty.
Our family room was nicely decorated, but we noticed early on that the walls were paper thin, as we could hear people walking upstairs and chatting in the hallway. In the bathroom, there was a huge jacuzzi tub, but a note from the innkeeper saying guests weren't allowed to use the tub as a bathtub because previous guests "had abused" it and they had to replace the wood floors. It seemed a little silly then to have this beautiful jacuzzi in the room and not be able to use it, but oh well.... (and why have wood floors in a bathroom?)
Breakfast the next morning was good, but Kathleen, the owner, seemed a little miffed when we interrupted her cooking to pay her for the room. (We really didn't have any option -- we had a flight to catch...)
Overall, the room and stay was fine, but I think next time we'd choose somewhere more centrally located and with a little more hospitality.
