The Castle Garden Townhouse assigned to our family of four was not clean, and 3 of the radiators were not operational. The "generator" that powered the radiators made a very loud noise that sounded as though a small plane was landing on the roof; the sound repeated every 20 to 30 seconds. Our adult children had difficulty sleeping due to the noise and lack of heating. The hotel desk was contacted and an employee was sent to repair the radiators, but he was unable to do so. The 3 full bathrooms were extremely dirty. The radiators that were operational worked well. There was always plenty of hot water for showers, as each shower generated it's own. The kitchen, which we didn't use for anything more than storing sodas and milk in the fridge, was complete with cooking utensils, pots & pans, dinnerware and flatware. A dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave were included. The full breakfast, in the main hotel's dining room, was extensive, but after our son found several long hairs in his scrambled eggs one morning, we stayed away from the breakfast buffet! The townhouse was conveniently located to the Bunratty Folk Park, Durty Nelly's Pub, and The Creamery Restaurant. We were able to walk to each of these locations for meals and shopping. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to take advantage of wi-fi service in the large public area of the hotel, where there were plenty of chairs, sofas, and tables. Wi-fi could not be accessed from the townhouse. Overall, the accommodation was only adequate, and we all agreed we would not stay at this location again.
