“Do visit the 11th centuary St.Flannan's Cathedral”

Our guide knew the history of the Cathedral very well and a bonus was him playing the organ - a wonderful sound. My husband climbed to the top of the tower and enjoyed the view (although misty.)

“Lovely cathedral....a must see in Killaloe”

The Ogham stone is so interesting and the ancient stone carved archway is lovely.

There is an Ogham Stone, around one thousand years old in the front of the inside in the Cathedral. Not always open

“Wonderful historic building”

Had lots of interesting artifacts and stone crosses from early Celtic times. Located right beside the River Shannon and the bell tower roof has panoramic views over the river
