“What a walk..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Well we didnt realise how far it was to walk so didnt come prepared with hats and gloves.. Was a beautiful walk mind you but my ears were killing me by the time we got to the castle. castle was amazing and the little guy that served us our Tea and Snickers cake (yummy) was a delight, so friendly. Needless to say we got the bus back..

“Beautiful Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

The location surrounding the castle is of great natural beauty, the castle is breathtaking with its lovely gardens and tea room, and there can be some very pleasant entertainment held in the castle on special ocasions. The walk from the car park to the caslte is also beautiful though not for the faint hearted, there is a shuttle bus available for those who wish to avail of, def worth visiting!!

“One of my favourite places...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Beautiful walks and grounds and the tour of the castle is definitely a must (Book when you reach the castle and then use the waiting time to walk around the gardens).
It is a stunning castle with a fascinating history and tour is great value.
The coffee shop is sweet and full of lovely treats!
An absolute must for all visitors to Donegal!

Really worthwhile visiting Castle is fantastic and make sure to do the guided tour, it is fantastic and gives a good history into the Castle and grounds etc...
Bring cash with you for the cafe as there are no ATMs and they dont accept cards.
