“Worth a trip from Dublin!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We visited this as part of a day trip to the Aillwee Caves and Wolf's Den classes. Absolutely fantastic fun, for bird lovers and civilians alike! The most notable thing about the centre is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Everyone there was extremely chatty, helpful and knowledgeable about their field.
The wide range of bird species there beat a trip to any zoo, especially with the fact that the handlers are careful to allow everyone (even grown ups!) an up close and personal encounter with these birds during the display! All in all, highly recommended. Will be back!

“Great Day Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Have visited the Bird of Prey Centre quite a few times now and it still provides for a fun day out. Staff in the centre are extremly friendly and there is someone always around to answer any questions you may have. The Hawk walk is a nice way to spend the afternoon also, although I am still quite cautious :) of those falcons they fly why too quietly, but I have to say it is great to get the chance to handle them and learn a bit more about then. Look forward to another visit soon.

“Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Our visit to the Burren Birds of Prey Centre originated in our search for an alternative activity as our planned activity was cancelled. We did not expect too much of it, but it was absolutely fantastic. We took a combined ticket including not only the Birds of Prey Centre, but also the cave. Due to the fact that we were there in January, we were the only people at the ornithological station and got kind of a private tour. It was awesome to learn about those amazing birds. Simply fantastic. It is definitely worth the money. Thanks for this great experience.
