One of the first places we tried to get for our Ireland vacation was Teach Ceann Tui and we were lucky enough to get it. The charm of a thatched-roof cottage caught our eye and it lived up to its expectations. We only wish it had been cold enough to light one of the fireplaces (especially the peat one)! The hosts (actually relatives of the owners) were so gracious and very helpful when asked questions, the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, and the accommodations were warm and inviting. One of the bedrooms is quite small, but the master bedroom is spacious, with a fireplace. The thatched roof or the peat fireplace, we don't know which, gives off an unusual scent inside the cottage, but this is just part of the charm. We did have a very difficult time trying to find the cottage, even with the directions that were provided, due to the fact that there is no sign at the entrance indicating the name of the bed and breakfast. We did mention this to the people taking care of the cottage and they took note of it.
