“Best little cafe in Ardara”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

What a terrific cafe. Recently visited there and was delighted with the food and ambience. Had a cheese toastie that was excellent while one of my dining companions had what he described as a delicious chicken dinner. Another friend had a huge bowl of vegetable soup she declared was the best she ever had. The brown bread was so good we asked for more. The owner - Sheila- was very welcoming, making our visit a memorable one. I highly recommend this cafe for good food and friendly service.

“Looks nice from the outside, but inside is a bit soulless.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Liked the price of the coffee, quite reasonable at 4 euro for 2 coffees.

Disliked the messy kitchen area, on route to the bathroom. It gives customers a bad impression of how the cafe is run.

“Holiday in Ardara”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Popped in to have a coffee and discovered the most delicious Battenburg buns ever! We visited here twice while in Ardara and I just loved the friendliness of the staff. There menu was quite extensive but the baked goods were fresh every day and just yummy!

“Good food, nice location and worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013 via mobile

Popped in for lunch on day trip to Ardara. Had lovely vegetable soup with warm homemade bread which was delicious along with a lovely cappuccino to finish which was nice and frothy with choccy sprinkles. Companion had smoked salmon salad which was delicious, good slices of fresh salmon and side salad with cream cheese. Even the tea was great I'm told. Very good value too and the staff and service were great.

“Really enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

We met relatives in Ardara for 'lunch' thought we were going to the hotel but we were brought here was very surprised, it is quite quaint with flowery plastic tablecloths and old decor but it was lovely, we were a table of 7, 3 adults had the warm chicken salad and it was loved by all, 1 adult had stew and said it was very tasty and the sauce appeared very thick and juicy, 1 adult had the prawn open sandwich - plenty of prawns, 1 child had chicken curry and rice 1 child had a full vegetable soup, there wasnt a clean plate left. there were a few desserts of rhubarb & strawberry crumble, apple tart and a chocolate brownie which was a big slice that couldnt be finished. Tea and coffee all around to finish off. Really was surprise and full by the end of the meal.
the portions were not mean- plenty big for lunch time. Will be recommending this place to others.
