We spent the afternoon at the Rock of Cashel and the nearby Abbey then went in search of a place to stay the night. Ashmore House is recommended in several guidebooks so we stopped by to see if there was a vacancy. We were warmly greeted and shown the rooms which are very nice and comfortable. The owners are lovely people who made our stay very pleasant. Great breakfast in the morning. You really feel like you are staying at a friend's house rather than a sterile hotel. There is also a large carpark behind the house.
