“Good restaurant in Cashel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Stopped by a little shop after our visit to the Rock of Cashel; asked the shopkeeper where SHE would eat...gave us several names but said, "now if you were taking ME, I would eat at Ladyswell. The food is homemade and reasonably priced." and she was soooooo right. Just a down-home, folksy kind of place, with simple, GREAT tasting food. We both had the toasted ham and cheese sandwich; and it was quite simply delicious! Saw a lot of other great looking dishes being served at nearby tables, and while we didn't have room for dessert, but wish that we had! Everyone else in the place appeared to be locals...so I think we found the right place. Great recommendation and we loved it.

“Nice restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

We stumbled on this after looking at the Rock of Cashel. The food was homemade and very good but the most outstanding item was the desserts!! Not only the taste but the variety and presentation was fabulous.

“Great place to eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

For a restaurant that is so far from the sea it is amazing how delicious their chowder is, one of the best I've tasted with plenty of fish. On a Friday they have fish and chips on the menu which is outstanding. Great choice between soup/sandwiches and lovely fresh hot meals with veggies you could die for. Usually too full for desert but if you can manage it they have a lovely choice all baked on the premises and gorgeous

“Lucky Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

After visiting the Rock of Cashel we went into town for something to eat. We picked this restaurant and we were glad we did. It's a small cozy place that serves great sandwiches for lunch, although I saw others getting huge hot meals. I think there were a lot of locals there, which is always a good sign. It was busy and the service was fast and friendly and the food was really good. Perfect choice.

“Charming Cashel Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

After a cold windy tour of Rock of Cashel, head straight into town and to Ladyswell!!
The portions are generous for the price, fresh and flavorful. Homemade and served hot and delicious! The roast beef was tender and very flavorful. Also had Lemon Meringue pie. Great me and we satisfied !
