We walked in off the street for supper and got a table for four with no problem (during a week’s travel in Ireland eating out lunch and supper we never had to wait for a table, the recession bites hard it seems). The restaurant is downstairs in a cellar and the smell is of humidity, the tables are fine for two but cramped for four and the cleanliness of the place (look in the corners) leaves a lot to be desired. The food however was good although the house red was plonk better suited to turning to vinegar. We’re unlikely to be back in the area, but if we were would chose somewhere else.
