“Melt in your mouth pork belly!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013 via mobile

We were just in and tried riva's new evening menu and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had prawn pil pil which was delicious snd full of flavour and then the duo of pork which was just gorgeous. The pork belly was just melt in your mouth . My boyfriend tried mine and said we will be back in again soon because he wants to have the pork!! Dessert was the hazelnut meringue which was delicious! My boyfriend had the crostini with goats cheese for starter, the fillet steak for main snd the death by chocolate for dessert all of which he said was absolutely delicious! !

We will be back in again soon for definite to try some of the other items on d new menu!!

“Really good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Riva is a great restaurant. Service can be a little slow but overall the dining experience is worth going for. The €20 set meal is well worth the money, it's a lovely Sunday dining experience. Had a party there and found them really accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely a fan of Riva.

Hi & thanks for taking the time for writing a review on Trip Advisor. Our service can be a little slow occasionally as we cater for walk-ins but we do find that our customers think it is well worth the wait!
Our €20 Sunday Set Menu is very popular & we are delighted you enjoyed it. Hopefully we'll see you again soon.

I love this place for the breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, a little gem in the centre of dundalk. Food is always great and very reasonable! Not to mention, served by the best looking waiters in the town!

“Fantastic Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Always enjoy coffee the odd morning here but I have to say their Sunday lunch is amazing, kids eat free so that is a bonus and their Roast beef is excellent also with a great selection of specials. For lunch during the week they do great deals of soup and sandwich, I would recommend the tikka wrap, very tasty.. Staff are always very polite and friendly, lovely atmosphere, best coffee in Dundalk and reasonably priced.
