Booked a weekend with some friends in Glengarriff. A friend recommended the Glengarriff Park Hotel to us, so we decided to give it a go. The hotel is located in the middle of the village so it was handy for everything. The rooms were state of the art, not what we were expecting from a country hotel. They had arranged a Trad session for us on Friday night and what a blast that was, we ate in the bar on Friday night and it was supberb and well priced. The following morning after a lovely breakfast we went for a drive on the ring of Beara ,luckily the weather was great. That night we had dinner in the Hotels Bistro and again excellent fresh produce, we informed one of the staff it was one of our birthdays and the provided a lovely cake. Needless to say we had another great night singing our hearts out till the wee hours. For Value, Comfort, Great Food and enjoyment this Hotel is highly recommended

Arrived in Glengarriff and had booked into the Cottage Bar, what a mistake, we ran from the place and spotted the Glengarriff Park hotel next door and wandered in, we were met with a welcoming face and looked at the room "WOW "Marble bathroom with heated floors, Plasma TV, 6FT BED space and more space. The hotel has just opened and used to be Maureens B&B. After a bath and a rest we went to Garnish Island from the Blue Pool Ferry what a great trip. When we returned we went to the bar for a drink and dinner in the Bistro again WOW the meal was fantastic and so was the price. To sum this Hotel up we payed €49.00 each had a great room an excellent meal and the friendliest service, a great new place in Glengarriff.
