“Better thank Kerry. On a par with Dingle.”
Was what I'd been told. The North section of the Beara drive is cracking. Truly beautiful. No caravans or large vehicles allowed. Much more my scene then. Hardly passed 15 other cars in the whole route. Mainly locals. One track. Be prepared to reverse. Cracking towns along he way - worth a stop at Eyeries for a pub / sunday lunch (great place in centre of town). Definitely go to Dursey, stay down in windy point b and b (they do dinners) and dot eh 3 - 4 hour walk around Dursey Island. Do not miss the Beara pinisula - you'll need public transport. Southside - Hungry Hill lodge - cheap. Arts and craft cafe - amazing.
