“Ireland superdeal national holidays”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Hotel was great food lovely no complaints. Journey there was very long set off at 5.05 got to hotel 9.30. Day in Galway was great but the 2 villages they took us to the next day were small and not a lot to do. back at the hotel for 2 so pretty much a wasted day. about 2 miles to the nearest village so a long walk for some. Thursday we left for a hotel on the outskirts of Dublin lovely hotel but in the middle of what appeared to be an industrial park reach hotel about 2 again so unless you go to Dublin by taxi nothing much to do. Ferry the next day was not till 1.45 so not sure what the trip here on Thursday was for we could have visited somewhere on route Didn't get home till 10ish so wouldn't recomend this trip. We have travelled with National all over Scotland and England and a couple of times to the continent and have to say this was the worst. The rating is for the hotels not the trip

We were shocked by the price first of all, only €29 pp for the night. That included a lovely breakfast served to us by really friendly staff. Room and bathroom more than adequate and crazy golf was a hit with our daughter. Really enjoyed our stay.

My 6 year old son and i stayed here for 3 nights and i can not express how much we enjoyed it. We quite simply fell in love with this hotel. It was very very affordable and the staff were just brilliant. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The rooms were clean and warm, the views were lovely and the staff would go out of there way to help you. (Which i can't say for other hotels we've stayed at). I had the best nights sleep in 6 months :)
My little fella found it so exciting that he was stay in a real castle, it has a tennis court and a small crazy golf course at the front of the hotel which we availed of and we had great fun playing :)
It is in driving distance to the shops in Lisdoonvarna. While staying here we went to the Alliwee caves and Birds of prey center which i recommend to anyone with or without kids.
All in all we had a great stay and we were quite sad to be leaving.
I have recommended this hotel to my friends and i recommend it to anyone that is looking for a lovely quite hotel in the country :)
We will definitely be back and this time we will bring a few others with us :)

I have just stayed at the Burren Castle Hotel with a coach party. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, very good food, served by very pleasant waiters/waitresses. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bedrooms were spacious and very clean. The entertainment at night wasn't brilliant but that is the only complaint of my 4 night stay. I would stay again if ever in Ireland.
