“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

I remember 6 years ago that the tourist guides brought us in 6th class down in the river to catch salmon or any different types of fish they caught to show us. Thank god they put them back into the river as they were gasping for air haha. Anyways I recommend this to all tourists to go down into the lake along with the tour guides from the visitor centre.

“Worth stopping for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

W.B Yeats' resting place under Benbulben is well worth visiting, there's info, books, postcards and a great little free booklet in the church.
A welcome & interesting stop when exploring Sligo.
Staff were friendly & the cafe was open from 7 every evening serving wine & tapas!

“Friendly and Patient Welcome.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Lots of local info provided by well read local staff.Should be your first point of call when visiting Sligo.Maureen was a hive of info regarding our family roots search.Plenty of Yeats stuff here of course, but local history buffs will discover more than just a grave!
