It's an old story I know, but this attraction gave me a better insight into what happened, how and why it happened and also an insight into the people who traveled on this journey. Your ticket is a replica of a passenger ticket. It gives you the name of a passenger who sailed on this fateful journey and at the end of the tour you can find out whether they survived or not. I was disappointed to see that the name on my ticket, a young man, disguised himself as a woman in order to get onto one of the lifeboats! Rascal! Part (a small relic) of the walkway off the harbour still exists. It is a cheap and enjoyable way to spend an hour or so. You can then enjoy pub grub on the ground floor. Very nice to sit outside on a warm day.
