“A gem in the Ring of Kerry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

This restaurant with attached cafe is a real gem on the Iveragh peninsula. The wait staff were very kind, quick and friendly, adjusting their service to the needs and demands of the range of customers there when we dined. The food was very fresh, the fish and the pasta both delicious and flavoured very tastefully. The menu caters for vegetarian, too. Highly recommended.

Wonderful meal in Rumours tonight. The Seafood platter is truly to die for! Pork was delicious too with black pudding potato & very tasty veg. Will be back.

“We ate here twice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

We arrived famished after a long walk on nearby Glenbeigh beach and they were kind enough to feed us even though it was close to closing time. A very tasty fish and chips with what seemed like homemade tarter sauce was enough to draw us back one evening for another meal. My fishcakes were lovely, my partner found the bun of his (very tasty) hamburger was hard and left it on the plate - although we didn't make any comment, the lady serving us noticed this for herself and offered us both a coffee on the house which I thought was exceptionally kind! We didn't have room to try the lovely cakes and desserts on offer but they looked great!

@Niamhsfriend delighted to hear that you loved your meal that much that you returned for a second evening, the biggest indication of success is a returning customer, and yes indeed the tartare sauce and all sauces in fact are homemade.
