“Fantastic wedding meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

Attended a wedding here, the quality of the food and drinks was excellent and more impressive than most wedding meals. Service was very attentive, extras were provided for main courses and vegetables. The staff provided a special welcome for guests with children and were very attentive to their needs during the meal.

“Good food, ok service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

I came here for a meal with my family, service was good, we were waiting a while for everyone on the table to get a menu. I had the asparagus starter that was beautiful. Some of us, you ordered drinks from the bar such as Guinness as it was not on the drinks menu were waiting a while for our drinks. For a main I got the beef steak medium-rare, I would call it rare as it was more blood than pink, so they serve their food more rare than other restaurants in the area, but it was really good anyway. The dessert was really good, I had a chocolate mousse cake. Overall the meal and service were good, however I have been to better restaurants in other hotels in adare where service is slightly better and the price is lower.

“Disappointed. ”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

Ate in bar..good selection on the menu. .ordered soup&sandwich soup was nice but the bread was hard and stale on the sandwich..asked the same waiter twice for a glass of water ..had to ask a different waitress before I finally got it. My friend ordered a coffee the cup was only half full so she asked for it to be filled up..she also ordered a brownie that was supposed to come covered in chocolate sauce. She had to ask for it!! No salt or pepper on the table. .couldn't get anyones attention so gave up..when we were paying we weren't asked how was everything. .and I was given the wrong change. .said this and got no apology. .wont be recommending this hotel and wont be back.
