“Lovely hotel,full of character .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

My husband and i spent a night here on 1 st september as a little break before school started on the 3rd.We arrived at lunchtime and were given our room key immediately .The room was very spacious and clean with a flat screen tv and plenty of wardrobe space. The hotel was very charismatic with flowers everywhere. The bar served food and there was also a coffee shop connected to the hotel.this hotel is very well located in the town.Opposite is a beautiful church which is well worth a look. There is also a lovely angel shop beside the hotel. we went out for dinner and found a charming Indian restaurant a few doors down which had very reasonable prices and fabulous food.As it was Sunday and the end of the season it was quiet which is what we wanted so we had a few drinks in the bar and the young girl Emma who served us is a credit to the hotel. Lovely manners and kept us in chat all evening.Im very bad at remembering names but i think her name was Emma. The housekeepers were very helpful and when i rran out of coffee sachets one of them kindly gave me more. The lady on the reception desk was very friendly also and very helpful.I would love to come back to this hotel as it was one of the nicest weekends i have ever had.We took a walk next day down beside the water and looked at the boats before heading back to Fermanagh.I rarely ever write reviews but i think the Bush Hotel more than deserves one .They should be proud of their hardworking friendly staff.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel .Lovely and quiet and a nice view.

We stayed here for a hen weekend, the staff were more than helpfull! We rang the day before for a cancellation as our other accomadation let us down! The girl on the desk was friendly and helpful from the time of booking to checking in and to checking out! Breakfast was amazing and the room was clean and big and fit 3 of us comfortably!

I was on a business trip to Carrick on Shannon this week and stayed in this boutique hotel for three nights. It has 50 rooms. It is ideally situated in the Main Street. It is family owned. Upon arrival I met receptionist Ciara McHugh who was most friendly. My room was a newly refurbished room, quite spacious and most comfortable. It was spotless. The next morning I met another helpful member of staff, Annie McGuinness who served me breakfast. There was a good variety of food on offer for breakfast, fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts and breads, as well as the traditional Irish breakfast which was freshly cooked each morning. Coffee was of good quality and most enjoyable. I ate lunch in the hotel one day but I did not enjoy it so I ate elsewhere the following two days. Being our Guest, U are special, Service matters most, Hope You return (BUSH) is the hotel's strategy for enhanced customer satisfaction. Should I be working in this area again I will definitely stay in this hotel. I would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Ensure you ask for newly refurbished bedroom.

On arrival the receptionist was warm, friendly and obliging. The room was very similar , warm, airy clean and tidy. The meals we had at the hotel were all delicious and the wait staff were all excellent. The car parking area has CCTV coverage which made the R&R all the more enjoyable.

My wife and i had the pleasure of staying in this Hotel from 24 to 27 aug. On arrival we met with a very pleasant and helpful receptionist, this set the tone for the rest of the stay. Rooms were very fresh and comfortable, meals were excellent served by smiling staff. This family run hotel coupled with its proximity to the river shannon where you can while away the day on the river boat makes it a great hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, we certainly will be back

I recently organised a two night stay in the Bush hotel as part of a hen party weekend. On arrival and throughout our entire stay the staff were all very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were really spacious and clean. It was excellent value for money. The included breakfast was lovely. If you missed the dinning room breakfast which ran to ten o'clock you could still avail of your full cooked breakfast in their little coffee shop up until 11.30. This was a fantastic little bonus. The hotel is really conveniently located in the town of Carrick and within short walking distance of all amenities with free car parking to the rear. We didn't have to get a taxi once. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: The quad rooms were really spacious and would be idea for groups or family stays.
