We walked out of another resturant in Kinsale; fortunately, we came cross this place on the hill. We drove past it the first time and ended up coming to the top of the hill... It offered full view of the town and harbour...do this too! Well worth it. Parking around the pub/resturant is a challenge. Kate, our waitress was great to talk too. We discussed the food but also the history of the building. One of the oldest pubs in Ireland going back to 1650. The restaurant serves fresh seafood! Excellent chowder but we also had the veggie soup of the day, also terrific. My daughter had the Fish cakes as her main and really enjoyed them. I had the scallops...awesome! Had a glass of Faustino to go with it! Came to €49 but worth it. I will be back.
