We only stayed at the Galley B&B for one night, but were made to feel very welcome.

The place was very tastefully decorated, and the light and airy rooms came with Sky TV and Dvds. Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely (great ambiance with Tom's jazz CDs playing in the background). There was free parking to the back of the B&B, but in any case, parking in Kinsale is free until 11:30am.

Tom was a great host, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The B&B is in a very central location, nearby to many great restaurants. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Situated in the heart of a bustling city on the sea, and within walking distance of most the local sights and attractions (you won't want to drive!); this lovely converted home consists of about 8 private rooms, all with baths.
Excellent car parking and the most comfortable bedding we found throughout our 12 day stay in Ireland.
Superb breakfasts served by owner manager Tom O'Hare, a renowned and very accomplished jazz musician. The premises is also loaded with some pieces of art most people would cherish in their own home.
The only thing we felt lacking was a sitting room for guests to unwind after a long day sightseeing and visiting some great restaurants.

We spent 2 nights at "The Gallery". Tom was a remarkable host. He greeted us with a tour of the B & B and gave us a choice of rooms, All of which were clean and tastefully decorated with bathrooms en suite. The breakfasts were delicious and we got a nice range of choices. Tom aquainted us with the "best for your dollar " restaurants and they didn't let us down. Kinsale is a beautiful coastal town with lots to do and combined with our stay The Gallery , it made it all the better.
Thanks Tom ! Meg , Rich and family, New Jersey.

We stayed for 2 nights at The Gallery. It was definitely amazing. Tom is a great host. He helped us find budget friendly places to eat (though we couldn't get much more than bar food on our college student budget), drew us maps on how to get to beautiful sightseeing places around Kinsale, and served us great irish breakfasts!

The room was very cozy and clean. You could tell Tom was very proud of his establishment.

The location of The Gallery is great. Right down the street from all the restaurants and shops.

“Enjoyable stay at the Gallery”

The Gallery

We recently stayed for 4 nights at the Gallery B&B in Kinsale. When we arrived after a long journey we were greeted by Tom, the owner who advised us where to park our hire car (there is parking available at the rear of the property) and directed us to our room. The room was cosy and inviting with an en-suite bathroom, television and tea and coffee making facilities. Tom was very flexible and suggested breakfast at 10 am which was fine by us, as we were planning to venture out to a few local pubs that evening! The next morning we were greeted by Tom who handed us a varied breakfast menu. It was difficult to choose but during our stay I tried the full Irish breakfast and the ham and mushroom omelette, while my partner opted for the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. All were delicious and served with toast and soda bread as well as orange juice and a pot of tea or coffee.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gallery. The location is great, just a short walk to the pubs and restaurants. The B&B itself is very inviting yet quirky and the rooms were warm and clean. Tom was an excellent host. He was very helpful and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He even gave us a tune on his baby grand piano! We would definitely go back again.
